Under normal circumstances, the stETH or wstETH withdrawal period can take anywhere between 1-5 days. Once it is ready, you can claim your ETH using the Claim tab.
After submitting a withdrawal request, you can view the estimated time to claim under the Claim tab.
The withdrawal period duration is impacted by several factors, including:
The amount of stETH in the queue: The withdrawal fulfilment serves in a FIFO way so the more stETH is locked in the withdrawal request queue, the longer a staker is supposed to wait.
Performance on the validator poolside: During the Bunker mode which is activated under extreme conditions (e.g. mass slashings or a significant portion of NO validators going offline), the withdrawal requests would be processed more slowly.
Exit queue on the Beacon chain. To withdraw the full balance of a validator, it has to exit entirely first. The exiting process takes variable amounts of time, depending on how many others are exiting at the same time. The more exits there are, the longer a validator has to wait.
Demand for staking and unstaking: Lido utilises ETH from the deposit buffer and rewards vaults to fulfil withdrawal requests so the requests could be handled as fast as possible.
