Bridging to BNB Chain
The bridging process is simple and brings your staked ETH to BNB Chain in a matter of minutes.
Before you get started, make sure you are working with Lido's wrapped staked ETH (wstETH). To wrap your ETH or stETH to wstETH, go to stake.lido.fi/wrap.
Visit portalbridge.com.
Select Ethereum as the network and wstETH as the asset in the “From” section. Select BNB Chain as the network in the “To” section.
Connect your wallet to both networks.
Select the amount to bridge.
Click “Approve and proceed with transaction” to confirm the bridging. You may be asked to approve the wstETH permission. Once approved, click the button again to complete the process.
Voila. The waiting time is around 15 minutes, after which point your wstETH will be available on BNB Chain.
If you can’t see your wstETH on the wallet, please refresh the list or add wstETH (wstETH on BSC: 0x26c5e01524d2E6280A48F2c50fF6De7e52E9611C) into the wallet.
Bridging back to Ethereum
Bridging wstETH back to Ethereum is exactly the same as bridging it to BNB Chain, except that you need to pay gas and relayer fees in BNB.
Therefore, before bridging, make sure you hold a small amount of BNB to cover the fees.
After confirm the transaction, you will see wstETH in your Ethereum wallet in about 1 minute.
